We live in an incredible world so Go out and be curious. Do what you came here to do.

Grandfather tree

Having returned from my third incredible journey to Tasmania I am so very grateful for each moment.  A wonderful weekend retreat with the lovely goddesses of the Bay of Fires for the April New Moon added to the magick as we placed our sacred tools in the loving arms of Grandfather Myrtle seeking his wise wisdom for our journey.

Dove lake

Unexpected magick would occur when we traveled to Cradle Mountain.  Every time I visit this sacred place I have a completely different experience.  The alpine forests and gorgeous lakes awaken your spirit.  A place that reminds us of the delicate balance that exists between the world of human and the natural world.

Wombat pool

We had originally planned to hike from beautiful Dove Lake to Wombat Pool.  After time to quietly reflect in stillness, we were inspired to venture further to Crater Lake.

Marions outlook

Something overcame me, and in that moment, I just knew we needed to hike to the top of the Overland Track to Marion’s Lookout.   The incredible scenery and the magnificence of the day were all it took.  We paused for a moment and realized we had been gifted with this day, we were here and this was an incredible world.    There was nothing holding us back and off we went.

At one point on the trail, to move upward you have to hold on to the metal chain and pull yourself up.  No hesitation… we were going for it.   What a sense of accomplishment when we reached the top.

Cradle Mt

The spirit of Tasmania is wild, raw and incredibly powerful.  Here you find the ability and courage to do what you never thought you could do.  When we reached the top it became apparent we were truly blessed with this day.   One of the local guides shared that two days before, the mountain was hidden in a misty veil.  The day before it had snowed and tomorrow, the weather was turning off.   We had been given this window of an opportunity.  I marked this day as one of my 60 celebrations.  Truly one of the best days ever.

The journey down the trail brought us through a magickal forest with a powerful waterfall.   Having no one there made me feel even more blessed as the silence added to the enchantment.  The Full moon on the 19th/20th of this month is dedicated to the Unicorn and the spirit of these magickal beings was felt at the water’s edge. For those who are members of our online Moon Cycle and Sacred Sabbat Ritual series, I have now posted both a ritual and the guided full moon meditation to support one in working with the Unicorn.  Click Here

Wombat love

As we left the forest we would be gifted with the most enchanting encounter.  A momma and baby wombat.   Wombat teaches us how to innately know our gifts even when everyone else doubts us. As a spirit animal the wombat teaches us that it doesn’t matter what other people think, we don’t need to care because the nourishment we need is within.

Wombat cub

They teach us how to dig beneath the surface to acquire the resources needed for change.  Wombat ask one to wake up and use the gifts that are your birth right.

Wombat backside

As usual these gentle little creatures came right over to Guy and posed.

Next month we will weave the web to Castle Hill for the WESAK Full Moon to perform the sacred water blessing and infuse the dragon lines with prayers of peace and love.  In June I will be sharing a special retreat on Waiheke Island with an amazing woman Louise Marra. Louise is internationally known for her leadership development and depth innovation as well as her work on intergenerational and collective healing.  She is the director of Leadership New Zealand’s premier year long programme, works with leading global organisations and works with sectors such as Philanthropy to help them innovate and birth a new world.  Together we are co-creating a powerful event offered at the time of the June Full Moon and Winter Solstice.  For more details please click here
