St. Francis of Assisi – Messenger of the Goddess

Greetings everyone:

I have just returned from a most powerful time in Italy and my beloved Switzerland.  There is something so special about the magick that is held within the spirit of the land of Switzerland that I return again and again.  Each time weaving the web of light between this crystal temple back in to the sacred lands of America.  This time I was called to carry the energy of the Black Jaguar from my recent journey to Maya Tulum to Italy.  It was very clear that I must make two journeys before traveling to Switzerland to share the energy in the seminar where a wonderful gathering of souls would come together.  Each soul dedicated to the growth their soul would need to move through the shadow. Each soul equal to the other, committed to join together to anchor this light into the web and carry it forth out into the world.

This time the Black Madonna had called me to journey to Loreto the place of the Holy House.  According to an ancient legend, which has been confirmed by historical and archaeological research the shrine of Loreto, preserves the home of Mary from Nazareth.  According to the tradition in 1291 the Crusaders took the stones from Palestine and transported them to Loreto.  Five crosses made of red material have been found walled among the stones of the Holy House belonging to the Templar Knights.  For me to be called to this place, the holy house of the Black Madonna had significant meaning.  I knew the story of this mysterious place that the Church of Rome teaches, but I also knew the story that rang true in my heart. The reason I had been called to journey here before the seminar in Switzerland which was to share the teachings of Grandmother Spider Woman.  The magick was in the stones.  For me the stones are the oldest beings and hold the history of all that has been experienced by mankind.  This was a holy house built of stone that belonged to all mankind not just one religion.  The House of the Black Madonna sat on the same energy line that ran through the Americas to the heart of Spider Rock.  The Goddess was alive in this place, quietly passing her blessings to those who came seeking her nurturing and asked to have their burdens lifted.  Such is the same story as that told by the Native Americans regarding Spider Rock in Canyon de Chelly.  When ones path had become too painful and one carried a heavy burden the ancestors would travel to the Spider Rock to be with the presence of Grandmother Spider, one aspect of the dark mother goddess.  Again it was clear the Goddess was fully awakened and offered her healing, nurturing and strength to those who seek to find truth.  A truth that is not cloaked in the teachings of a designated religion.  Instead it is found in the stones, in the trees, in the animals.  It is found in nature.  I remembered my first experience at Spider Rock when Spirit had told me to go to the rock. The voice was clear, “there you will find the presence of the Black Madonna”.  I remember my reaction when I first approached the rock and saw the image of the Black Madonna created by nature within the stone. Two crows, known to be the constant companion of the dark lady and also my companions, had appeared on my path to fly to the exact location so I would not miss the image I was being showed.

I had no idea what the image of the Black Madonna in the Holy house looked like as having traveled the world now following the dark ladies call each Black Madonna is different. When I saw the one held within this sanctuary I knew without a doubt the significance of Spider Rock and the connection to the Dark Mother Goddess.  I understood how the Black Madonna belongs to everyone and is not connected to just one religion.  I understood how the prophecy that it will be her presence that will unite mankind together once again was the very call that my soul followed.  It is her loving presence that one feels when they hold the andara crystal over their heart.

The next part of the journey was to travel to Assisi, the home of Saint Francis.  I have always had a deep connection to this soul and even though I do not follow the path of a particular religion this is a soul that I know was a messenger of the Black Madonna, the dark mother Goddess. Saint Francis was born in 1183.  There is a mystery surrounding even the birth of this great messenger of the Goddess.  It is said that his mother gave birth to him  in a stall near their house following the instructions given to her by a mysterious pilgrim who had come to her door before the birth.   Francis came from a very wealthy family and excelled in both his ability to write poetry as well as his strength in the game of war.  It was always assumed he would become a powerful knight, which he did indeed when Assisi went to war with Perujia.

After receiving a vision, Francis would give away his wealth; give away his title as knight to become a messenger.  Although the Church of Rome claims him as their son and a messenger of God, Francis was truly a messenger of the Goddess.  He spoke to the animals and encouraged man to honor the animals with the same respect that the Goddess and God source see all as being equal.    Saint Francis brought peace to many cities that were divided by bitter fighting from opposing forces.  He was known to acknowledge the water as Sister Water.  Saint Francis was a mystic who acknowledged that everyone was equal and had a purpose in our society. Everyone was needed to create a harmonious whole. He spoke of stepping away from earthly possessions. His message is so clear today.  A need for humbleness, a need to put aside material wealth and greed and find the balance.  This is not about poverty consciousness, but it is about gratitude and thanks for what each of us has and an appreciation for the simple things in life that often go unnoticed.  This is  the time to rid ourselves of jealousy if we observe another with something that appears to be more than we have.  Be happy with all that you have and that in turn assures that more is yet to come.  Put aside greed and fear of lack.   A need for man to awaken and recognize we are equal to all other beings that share our world and that we are destroying the very thing that has been gifted to us to protect.  As I sat within the chapel where Saint Francis’s presence is felt I could not help but recall the words of another great teacher that has walked amongst man, Chief Seattle and his powerful words trying to awaken mankind as well.

“What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts soon happens to man. All things are connected. You must teach your children that the ground beneath their feet is the ashes of our grandfathers. So that they will respect the land, tell your children that the earth is rich with the lives of our kin. Teach your children what we have taught our children that the earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.  Even the white man, whose God walks and talks with him as friend to friend, cannot be exempt from the common destiny. We may be brothers after all. We shall see. One thing we know, which the white man may one day discover –our God is the same God. You may think now that you own Him as you wish to own our land: but you cannot. He is the God of man, and His compassion is equal for the red man and the white. This earth is precious to Him, and to harm the earth is to heap contempt upon its Creator.

As I carried the andara crystal from these two places to Switzerland, it was held by each person who brought their wisdom, their medicine, their love, and their prayer to the sacred circle that we would create. Each of you were also a part of the great circle as we are all woven together with the golden thread of the Black Madonna, the thread of Grandmother Spider. The andara will continue to be carried around the world for more to experience and to place their prayer and their vision.  Every time the andara is held within a sacred circle the cosmic web of the earth grows brighter with light.  As the light grows stronger more souls are awakened and the message is carried with a louder voice.

The next time the andara will be carried into a sacred circle is on the next Full Moon which is December 2nd and again on December 4th.  If you live on the East Coast and would like more information regarding these two meditations please visit the link UPCOMING JOURNEYS and go under Full Moon Meditation and Andara Crystal Meditation.  For those who live in Southern California you are invited to attend the turning of the Cosmic Wheel as we welcome in 2010 at the time of the Winter Solstice.

I will return to Switzerland for the Wolf Full Moon which is very powerful for setting intention for the coming year.  More information will be sent once the place is secured so those of you from all over the world can join together as we set intention for world peace and prayer in 2010.  If you are reading these words you are an intricate part of the journey of the andara crystal and of the awakening.  Be strong in your faith and be the change that we all seek at this time.

I posted a prayer for Mother Earth on my blog today. I hope you will join me in saying on Dec 12th as St Lucia brings light into darkness with her strong spirit. Please spread it further if you’d like!

Father, Mother, Child as One, if I (your name), my family, relatives, ancestors and co-workers have been greedy, offensive and negligent; we offer Mother Earth a sincere apology as we share our gratitude for her abundance and seek to regain balance.

We understand that what we do to our own bodies is what we do to Mother Earth and what we do to Mother Earth is what we do to our own bodies.
We bow to the Sun and spread His Light.
We listen to the Ocean waves and share Breath.
We feel resilience by observing the Trees.
And we are guarded by the Mountains as we resume our rightful position in the circle forever connected with Source.

We ask for Divine assistance from the Collective Heart as we wish to transform and recycle our overuse of resources into Light. Let the water of life release and sustain all of us; Her children.

We bless the Fishermen and the Farmers.
We bless the Animal kingdom and the Plants.
We bless the Decision makers, Politicians and Business Leaders and trust in their ability to join and teach a new plan in caring for our shared home and take full responsibility for its implementation.

Together we walk softly upon Mother Earth as we once again are able to appreciate the beauty bestowed upon us in its full glory.
We are Peace and so it is done.
