October Planetary Influences

Goddess Venus

October 5th Venus turns retrograde

Venus is the Goddess of love and relationships.  A feminine energy, Venus rules love, relationships, money and personal values.   When retrograde, your relationships will be tested.  For the next 40 days the retrograde cycle will provide everyone an opportunity to review, revisit, and reevaluate all of your relationships.  Venus is going retrograde in Scorpio, which is considered the most intense sign of the zodiac so things will amp up.  Remember in this Year of Sacred Relationships, the most important relationship we need to evaluate and nurture is the one we have with ourselves.  Venus Retrograde in Scorpio can be challenging, allowing another layer to die so that we can rebirth a new expression of our divine self from the heart.  At times it may feel as though you are on a treadmill. In the end, you will discover it was all worth it as we learn to unconditionally love ourselves and our experience.

Venus in Scorpio retrogrades bring the greatest transformations as Venus can bring unfinished business back into your life.   Past lovers, unresolved relationships and old friends can resurface. Still under the influence of the total lunar eclipse, a spotlight will illuminate where you are repeating patterns in your relationships.  If you do not address these unresolved issues it will consume more of your energy when the wheel turns into 2019.  You will need to really look at why you do the things you do in relationships. The limiting beliefs you hold on to. This Venus Retrograde will assist you in creating a better version of yourself.  Really take the time during this retrograde to explore your motivations and desires.

It is important to look with different eyes and be thankful for past heartbreaks. These individuals come into your life to help you discover another layer of yourself.  They shake up your belief system and tear apart the ego.  They break your heart open so new light can penetrate the layers of protection and fear.  At times it leaves you feeling so out of control that you have no choice but to transform your life…. and then you do.  2019 is the year we rebirth the greater version of ourselves so really work these Venusian influences. November provides a significant time of personal growth as we acknowledge the journey that has brought us the awareness we now have.  We pause and prepare for the magick that 2019 will bring when the wheel turns in December.   For those who are interested I am sharing the teachings of the Path of the Rose and tools to support one in the energy of 2019 in Bern, Switzerland and Austin, Texas.  A few spaces remain.

Amber full moon

The Taurus full moon is a major turning point in the year, pushing us towards our destiny by providing clarity on how to reinvent ourselves in the coming year. You may have felt as though you made one step forward and two steps back trying to integrate the total lunar eclipse cycle and recalibration of our emotional bodies in recent weeks.  This an ongoing process.  The Taurus Full Moon reminds us to dream big but acknowledge the small things in life that bring you joy.  It is about making the ordinary an extraordinary experience by taking the time to celebrate the journey.  With the influence of the Venus Retrograde, take the time to fall in love with you once again.

Amber is not actually a stone, but the petrified resin of trees that once grew in forests along the Baltic sea.   Amber’s gold-orange color is known for grounding and stabilizing higher spiritual energies into the physical body. Its influence is simultaneously calming and energizing, enhancing patience, protection and balance. Amber is said to absorb negative energy, thereby promoting the body’s ability to heal itself and supporting the integration we are all experiencing from the Total Lunar Eclipse cycle.  A sacred ritual for the Amber Full Moon will be posted for those who are members of our online subscription series as well as a guided meditation in the next week.

Carving the Pumpkins

October 31st Samhain in the Northern Hemisphere

Recognized by the ancient Druids as the night to communicate with the Ancestors. Samhain represented the final harvest, when the crops were safely stored for the coming Winter. As the veil between the worlds of life and death is thin on this night, we take this time to remember those who have past into the spiritual realms.  Samhain is a time to complete any unfinished business of the summer.  One of the 8 days of power known as the Sabbat celebrations, and the most magickal of times revered by the ancient ones.  All Hollow’s Eve marks a time when the veil that separates the world of the dead from the world of the living is thought to be thin, allowing for visits from the spirits of our departed ones.  I have posted a sacred ritual for opening the gateway to magick on this night and to honor our loved ones for our online subscription series members click here

Wishing you an enchanted month, Robbyne
