The Divine Mother
The Mother represents ripeness, fertility, fulfillment, stability, and power. The image of the Mother as an eternal giver of life was one of the first religious images that can be found. Before patriarchal gods appeared, the Goddess was revered in her aspect as Creatrix.
A mother goddess is a goddess who is a personification of nature, motherhood, fertility, creation, destruction or who embodies the bounty of the Earth. The egg in ancient times was a symbol of the mother goddess and of birth: the sun emerged from the cosmic egg.
While our collective humanity has lost sight of the ways of the green world, those who follow the earth religion hunger to touch and be touched by the powers and splendor of nature. In this exchange, we awaken to the living world. Spend time in your favorite green space.
Attune to your exchange of breath with the trees: their green breath of oxygen with your red breath of carbon dioxide. The Earth is alive.
One web of life connects us all, breath to breath, and essence to essence. What your mind has forgotten, your body remembers. This is a beautiful blend of oils associated with our earth mother and the green temple.
Working with this oil in meditation can fertilize and nurture the seeds we have planted. Bringing a reminder to just be in the essence of the Goddess and allow everything to unfold in the natural rhythm of the unseen world.
This oil is similar to forest bathing in a bottle. Breathe in the delicious scent of the forests and allow it to recalibrate your physical, emotional and mental body. Among the benefits associated with forest bathing are a boost in immune system functions, reduced blood pressure, improved mood, increased ability to focus, increased energy and improved sleep.
Place on the wrists and rub together. Place on the temples, crown chakra, and heart to make a deeper connection to the divine mother goddess and those of the green temple.
