Venus goes Direct April 17th

highres_5162633

After what may appear to have been a very long six-week cycle Venus is going direct on Friday, April 17th.  She has been in her retrograde cycle since March 6th and we have all felt the impact of her influence. Venus goes retrograde approximately every year and a half. The next takes place from October 8, 2010 until November 10, 2010.  Just before a planet stops its retrograde cycle and begins a forward motion it moves into a cycle known as the station.

The Direct Station is when Venus completes the retrograde phase and turns to resume forward (direct) motion. Just like the retrograde station, you may notice an intensity or concentration of Venus-related energy in your life for up to a week before and after the station. The direct station can often be a time of release, when all the concentrated focus on change, growth and development during the retrograde phase now comes out to manifest. The research is done, clarity has come and it’s time to start applying what you’ve learned. The direct station can be a time when you reach a decision about something you’ve been wrestling with, or when you start to see a situation in a new way that starts to make sense.

Venus remains in what is known as the post retrograde shadow for about a month after the direct station. During this time, you are applying, integrating and moving forward, using the new information and changes that have occurred during the cycle up to now. If Venus retrograde has caused disruptions or disappointments in your life, this can be a time when healing starts to take place.  It might be a time when you revisit the original problem but approach it from a new point of view, having explored other perspectives during the retrograde phase.  If Venus has brought new possibilities into your life, this phase can be a time when you must decide whether to continue to develop these possibilities and really move forward.  If you do, this will begin a time of planting these new developmental seeds into your life so that they will continue to grow and thrive. On the other hand, you might have discovered that they don’t work the way you thought they would. In this case, you’re now in a position to let go of your old expectations, hopes or desires, which can clear the way for other possibilities to eventually come to you that will fit your needs better.

Since the retrograde began in early March you have been moving through a time of change.  Over the next three months you will realize even greater change.  You will not be the same person you are today three months from now. Whether you are discovering new areas in which to let your heart shine, or coming to the realization you must end a situation, the Venus retrograde is a time that will leave you with a new perspective and new potential.

Venus demands that you now listen. Relationships can break up; new ones can begin. Venus is now showing you where your life needs to change. Consider new perspectives and new approaches. Venus brings us closer to what we love. The retrograde energy pushes us to assess what we believe to be important, and to become more aware of ourselves and those around us.

On April 22nd we will be celebrating Earth Day.  With negotiations for a new global climate agreement coming up in December, Earth Day 2009 must be a day of action and civic participation, to defend The Green GenerationTM‘s core principles:

  • A carbon-free future based on renewable energy that will end our common dependency on fossil fuels, including coal.
  • An individual’s commitment to responsible, sustainable consumption.
  • Creation of a new green economy that lifts people out of poverty by creating millions of quality green jobs and transforms the global education system into a green one.

You can make a difference just with focused intention and prayer.  On this day, prepare an altar containing something from the four elements to honor the four directions:  Incense for the East, a candle for the South, a sea shell or bowl of water for the West and a crystal, flower or plant for the North.  Make your prayer for awakened awareness of the need to protect our beloved earth and make your commitment to walk in balance as an earth guardian.    Take the action to plant flowers, or donate to an animal protection group.  Bless the water from the altar and offer it back to the earth.  Anything that calls to your heart to celebrate and honor the earth.  Together we can make a difference.

Just a reminder for those of you who are attending the Animal Communication Workshop on Sunday, April 17th.   Dress comfortably and casually; bring a journal, as we will be spending time in the sacred medicine wheel and the enchanted garden.  There are still a few spaces left for anyone interested in participating in this experience of building a stronger relationship with the animal kingdom and learning to understand the messages they bring to guide our journey.

Wishing you magic.

Love and rainbows, Robbyne

I have signed up and looking forward to the animal workshop this Sunday. I had an amazing encounter with an animal creature earlier this week that I would like to share with you before the workshop, if I may. I was with a friend when a lizard came across our path. Another friend in another city also had a lizard in her path around the same time, same day. Will the workshop help clarify this type of encounter, especially since it seems to be one for a collective audience? Thanking you in advance for your guidance and expertise.

Yes indeed, the workshop is designed to share with you practical tools so can learn to work with these amazing animal allies. There purpose is to work with human beings passing on the intelligence of nature. If we learn to work with them, listen to their messages, observe their behavior and see how it mirrors events and situations in our own lives we can be assisted in recognizing the timing to take action or be still, the time to let go and the time to move forward. This begins a wonderful journey of working in harmony with nature. The animals have guided my personal journey since I was a child. They come to us in the dream time; they appear when they have strong messages to share in physical form. Even the animals we are attracted to are a part of our journey and guide us if we are aware of the medicine they bring to us.

It appears a very special being came to deliver a message for each of you. Because it appeared at relatively the same period of time it weaves your lives intricately together demonstrating how each of us are also woven together with fibrous threads of energy much like a spider web. Let me share with you the profound message of a great leader who spoke quietly but with powerful words. These words have always been my truth.

“When the Earth is sick, the animals will begin to disappear, when that happens the Warriors of the Rainbow will come to save them. Every part of this earth is sacred to my people. Every shining pine needle, every sandy shore, every mist in the dark woods, every clearing and humming insect is holy in the memory and experiences of my people. The sap, which courses through the trees, carries the memories of the red man. This we know. The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood, which unites a family. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself… One thing we know, which the white man may one day discover – OUR GOD IS THE SAME GOD. You may think that you own him as you wish to own our land; but you cannot. He is the God of man, and his Compassion is equal for the red man and the white. This earth is precious to him, and harm to the earth is to heap contempt on its Creator… So if we sell our land, love it as we’ve loved it. Care for it as we’ve cared for it. And with all your strength, with all your mind, with all your heart, preserve it for your children and love it…as God loves us all.”

This is the intelligence of nature and this we can learn from our animal allies. I am happy to share the workshop with you, as I know you will have a profound experience when you make that heart connection with your power animal. Thank you for sharing your experience.
