Standing tall one

There exists a special relationship between trees and humans, as we both produce the gases that enable the other to exist. They produce the oxygen that we need to breathe, and we produce carbon dioxide which trees breathe. This is the symbiotic relationship of the green and red breath.  Trees have played an important role in many of the world’s mythologies and religions.  They are  sacred to many people throughout the world and honored as  living teachers and elders.   There is a special Juniper tree that has become my elder teacher and friend as I remain in Sedona.    As I have to distance myself from other humans, I seem to need the relationship with the trees and stones even more.

rose in juniper

Juniper trees are associated with protection in many different Native American tribes.  They symbolize a great journey with many twists and turns, reminding us to stay true, never compromising our integrity. The Hopi believe that the spirit of the caretaker of the earth travels with the Juniper Tree. The  juniper is the humblest of trees as it grows at is own leisurely pace, a few inches closer to the sky each year. A mature tree is a survivor of centuries of droughts and storms.   The bark of the juniper is a coarse calico of grays that sheds from the trunk in long strips like peeling skin.  The juniper’s ordinariness masks an array of remarkable gifts and yet it is an oyster found here in the desert that hides many pearls of wisdom inside. I pause for a moment and think of so many humans who don’t see their own magnificence, they don’t realize the many pearls they carry inside.

Juniper tree

To the Hopi people, the juniper is a vital part of their traditional way of life. Few would say it is beautiful, but to me it is amazing.  It holds me in a warm embrace and speaks to my soul of these times of uncertainty.  It comforts me when I feel overwhelmed.  I can’t go home, and at times I question the divine plan.  I exchange my breath with the Juniper and feel a stillness inside.  “You’ll be all right.  We are in this together.  Let me hold you”, it speaks to my heart.

I relax deeper into the embrace of the tree and settle into stillness.  Our spirits merge together.  It will be important to remember these moments, to remember the stillness and to listen when our mother awakens.  In that moment I understood more than ever why I am here.  I recite the Code of the Dragon and recommit to be an Agent of Change.  I feel a deep sensation of knowing fill my being.

butterfly magic

I like you, don’t know what the future holds, what I do know is these are extraordinary times to reinvent ourselves as we gestate in our cocoon.  In the right moment we will emerge as a beautiful butterfly, the best of us.  I pray we have found the courage to make the changes we need to make to create global change.  I pray we can put aside our political differences and demand change from our leaders.  I pray we have awakened from our slumber and complacent way of being.  This could be a good time to level up and be all we were born to be.

The juniper provides the Hopis, the basics of warmth, shelter, tools, and food. Hopis do not cut down junipers but rather collect deadwood for winter fires and for building houses, corrals, and fences. Juniper roots, which can stretch downward 200 feet, are carved into cradleboards, bows and arrows.  They are used for food, housing, tools, decoration, medicine, ceremonies, and magick. The juniper’s berries were considered a “starvation food” for when the tribe’s crops failed. The berries are still eaten today, in a ceremonial way to recall the difficult times their ancestors endured.   When we move forward, it’s important for us to remember this time, this gift, this journey we have been given.  We need to listen.  Using a wonderful device from Damanhur, one is able to hear this magnificent  tree sing.  I wanted to share with you how beautiful the song of nature can be.

Juniper Tree Oil – $50.00

For those who wish to journey deeper to gain the wisdom and strength of the Juniper Tree I have created two new oils on the 444, (04:22:2020) at the time of the Lunation of the Dark moon in April and the 50th celebration of Earth Day.  It is infused with Juniper berry Oil – Juniper has long been used to create clairvoyance and to bridge the gap between this world and the unseen world. It is also useful for purification and is traditionally burned in the celebration of Samhain. It is one of the nine woods traditionally placed in a Celtic balefire, Honey myrtle an essential oil known to clear lung congestion, promoting healthy lungs and airway activity. Additionally, this amazing essential oil has antioxidant properties and can help with cell regeneration. Emotionally and energetically, honey myrtle essential oil uplifts and invigorates.   Palo Santo – the ‘sacred’ wood. This sweet aromatic wood is believed to bring many spiritual benefits to people.   Palo Santo essential oil directly affects the limbic system, which is responsible for regulating emotions and promoting relaxation. Targeting this center of the brain can be beneficial for alleviating stress and Cedar – The Cherokee believe the Cedar tree to hold powerful ancestor spirits bestowed by the Creator in the beginning of existence.  Within the alchemical combination of these oils, I placed needles, bark and berries from the great elder vortex tree as we sat together honoring the alliance of the world of human and that of the natural world.  The spirit of the white dragon lineage was called into the magickal blend.  This is a combination of standing tall elders that can support you in receiving vision for your own personal journey as you travel deeper into the remembrance, reclaiming your truth and holding the vision for what you are rebirthing as an Earth Keeper.  Meditating with the oil can support your leveling up as you ground the higher frequencies of your truth into the embodiment of your body temple.  These are extraordinary times and this is an extraordinary teacher.  If you would like to order the Juniper Tree Oil please contact Guy at [email protected].
