New Moon and the Message of Saint Francis of Assisi

The new Moon is about moving inward and learning to trust the unknown, the dark void where all is possible in this place of creative potential.   It’s the moment when the old passes away and the new is not yet here. A powerful time for sending out your prayer, wishes and desires to the Universe.  The dark moon takes us into hidden realms of the soul, the place we hold our memories and experiences, and the place we can draw wisdom from. Working with planetary energies links you to the power of the divine. Each month at the new moon we have an opportunity to rededicate our intentions by reviewing and renewing our personal wish list. New Moons are a blank page on which to speak your dreams out loud.  Setting aside a few minutes each month during the new moon phase to focus on yours wishes and desires will help give you clarity of mind and fill your heart with promise.  Any intentions stated or written down carries power, take care in considering the things that you really want.   This new moon is an excellent night to set the intentions for stepping into our full potential as the 11:11:11 alignment approaches.

After my recent experience in Canyon de Chellys and the incredible gift given from the ancestors as I merged so completely with the spirit of the Deer,   (For the story of the deer click here) I have received once again the most amazing gift from the natural world as those from the animal kingdom came to share the message for all of us as we choose to walk the Path of Beauty.

In Mount Shasta there is a secret garden that has areas dedicated to the different Master teachers supporting our journey at this time.  One of my favorite areas is the one that offers a place to experience the energies of Saint Francis.

When I approach this area there is a prayer that is displayed that I believe sets the intention for what we are asking to become at the time of the 11:11:11.   On this New Moon, Wednesday, October 26th light a white candle and set your intentions to become a vessel of pure light, to step into the service your soul has agreed to provide in awakening those still sleeping.  Just to walk a path of beauty with compassion, love and forgiveness is stepping into that potential.  The higher the frequency of love you carry within you the greater the magnet to attract all that you desire into your life.  Prepare an altar honoring the four elements this night.  Incense to honor the element of air, a single candle to honor the element of fire, a vessel of water to honor the element of water and a beautiful flower or stone being to honor the element of earth.   Say the following prayer out loud and feel your heart responding to the words.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt,  faith;

where there is despair,  hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

On a piece of paper set the intentions as you rededicate your  personal wish list.  Fold the paper towards you and place under the white candle in the center.  Take the time to experience the energy of this beautiful new moon as we all prepare to weave the web during the 11:11:11 alignment.  There are a couple of spaces still available for those who may be called to join us for this event in Mount Shasta.  Last day to register is November 5th click here
