new moon 2019

June 3rd New Moon in Gemini

When we follow the rhythm with the cycles of nature, we align ourselves with our own power to heal, transform and celebrate our unique gifts to the universe. This month’s new moon provides an invitation to get clear on how we align our actions with the words we speak. A new moon can work powerful manifestation magick because the Moon is furthest from the earth and this frees the imagination from material limits. Seeds planted at the New Moon will grow, so be careful what you wish for. With the continued planetary influences of Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter in retrograde if you find yourself feeling heightened irritability and have become  easily triggered, take this as a signal that you need to take a deeper look at what is triggering you so you can release these emotional triggers once and for all. That is the gift these planets are providing.  This month’s new moon  in Gemini reminds us that our words have incredible power.  This is the perfect new moon to begin new projects that involve writing, speaking, acting, anything in the communications field. Photography, advertising, and marketing are especially enhanced at this time. The effects of the June 3 new moon lasts four weeks, leading  up to the powerful total solar eclipse. It is a moon of choice so choose wisely what you wish to manifest that will bring you true joy.   A new moon ritual to optimize the magick of the Gemini New Moon has been posted.  Click Here

Goddess Epona

June 17th Full Moon Dedicated to Epona

The June Full Moon is dedicated to the Goddess Epona, worshipped throughout the entire Celtic world. Often depicted as a woman with long hair riding upon a white mare. Epona is believed to have the ability to shape-shift between the form of a woman and that of a white mare. When she appeared in the form of a white mare it was believed Epona had special magickal abilities, that allowed her to carry shamans upon her back so they could travel to the spirit world and safely return once again to the world of human. Epona reflected great mysteries, which were associated with life, death, and rebirth, as a Goddess of the Wheel Cycle.  With the influence of Saturn and Pluto in Retrograde we can use this full moon to prepare on a deeper level for the sacred healing energy we will be gifted with at the time of the July Total Solar Eclipse. As this transit approaches, we are asked to look at one particular area of life that is no longer working well for you. It could be a relationship, career or a particular belief or pattern.  Use the power of the full moon to accept change and go with the flow. Listen to your intuition as it can be profound with this full moon.  You cannot leave things as they are and resist the powerful forces that are now at play.   This is a time of necessary change.    The Epona Full moon will illuminate those things within us that need to die in order to birth the magickal child.  For those who are members of our online subscription series I have included a ritual to work more deeply with the Wise Woman.  Please click here.  I will also be posting a guided audio meditation to assist you in working with Epona.

Dreaming new reality

June 21st Neptune goes Retrograde

With the planet of dreams, spirituality and possibilities now going retrograde at the time of the wheel turning with the solstice,  this adds to the mix of planets supporting us to make change.  Neptune brings into our awareness truth and the desire to live our dreams.  Powerful breakthroughs occur when Neptune is in retrograde as we can no longer deny or hide from the truth of our situations and relationships.    Use this cycle to resume creative projects, especially those in photography, film, painting, sculpting and theater as Neptune supports these endeavors and assists us in realizing our dreams.

winter and summer

June 21/22 Solstice

The word solstice means “sun standing still” and is one of the most powerful times for each us to create the space of stillness within our heart.  Far removed from the distractions of the outside world and the chaotic energies of the multitude of thought forms of fear, doubt, scarcity and lack that surround us, the illusions created by the Surface Walker in our mind.  This is a time to journey within and connect to the heart of your soul. A time to take stock of where you are and who you are becoming.  We are all part of the same collective consciousness thought that flows through this Universe and beyond. As we pause to celebrate the turning of the wheel, we need to remember that we are all having the same journey.  We each strive to learn, to grow, to experience life as we try to make sense of the chaos in our world.  Under the influence of Pluto and Saturn Retrograde energy, we are going to be able to tap into this truth with greater ease. We are going to be able to raise our vibration and our consciousness to tap into a sense of unity and oneness. Pluto’s retrograde signifies a shift in consciousness. An awakening moment where we can see beyond illusion and into a new truth.  This is the last retrograde that Pluto will make before aligning with Saturn in Capricorn in January 2020.  The conjunction in January of 2020 is a greatly anticipated moment of monumental change.  The last time Pluto and Saturn aligned in Capricorn was January 1518.  There is a choice we can all make regarding what dream we choose to live, and the remainder of 2019 is guiding us towards this.

the winter solstice

In the Southern Hemisphere we experience the longest day of darkness.  It is from the state of original chaos, the black void, that the old creatrix goddesses are said to have brought forth all that is. The belief that the world started with the sacred spark of creative potential contained within the primordial womb is one of humanity’s oldest concepts. The birth of the archetypal sun, of The Great Mother on the Winter Solstice brings forth the luminescence from Her dark womb and offers it as a gift of life to the world. This light that retrieves us from the dark of night, the pitch of winter, is a microcosmic recreation of the origination of the universe. The Winter Solstice, then, is an anniversary celebration of creation.  I have posted a ritual for the Southern Hemisphere to celebrate the Winter Solstice.  Click Here

the summer solstice

In the northern hemisphere, the Summer Solstice is the most powerful day of the year for the Sun God. Celebrations begin at sunset the night before and continue through the next day.  In ancient times, the Summer Solstice was a fire-festival of great importance when the burning of balefires ritually strengthened the sun.  The Egyptian calendar started at the time of the Solstice usually around the 21st of June with the star Sirius rising on the horizon, announcing the start of the inundation of the Nile. Astronomically, it is the longest day of the year, representing the God at full power returning to nurture the Goddess represented as the Earth Mother.  I have added a ritual for the celebration of empowering the internal sun within you.  Click Here

June 25th The Celebration of Matariki

Matariki New Zealand

Matariki is the Maori name for a cluster of stars which is visible in the night sky at a specific time of the year. In 2019, from the 25th to the 28th of June, Matariki will re-appear in the dawn sky signaling the start of the Maori New Year. This is a celebration honoring the seven sisters, known as the Pleiades.  A time to experience renewal and an opportunity to reflect on who we are at this moment in time, as we build deeper connections with our whanau (family), both our physical family but also our spiritual family.  Take the time to stand beneath the stars this night and receive the neutrino energy gifted to us at this time.  Matariki is both an ending and a beginning,  Similar to how the western world celebrates December 31st, it offers a time of reflection on the months that have passed which will be enhanced now that Neptune is retrograde.  This is the midway point of 2019 and if we stand beneath the stars we can receive guidance for our journey.  Take the time to celebrate for the joy of the moment and acknowledge the magnificent you.

As we continue to navigate through these times of uncertainty and change, preparing for the approaching eclipse cycle, I thought I would share a special ritual to assist you during challenges that may arise when we allow ourselves to be distracted by others and pulled into their drama.

Protection Charm when you are bombarded by external forces.

  1. Collect together five tiny twigs from a great standing tall one.
  2. You will need a white ribbon, a white candle and a strand of your hair.
  3. Light the candle saying, “White light surround me, protecting me from outside influences.
  4. Drip the wax of the candle onto one of the tree twigs and press your hair into it before it dries.
  5. Surround the twig with the others, making a small magickal bundle.
  6. Secure it with the white ribbon saying, “So Be it and So It Is.”
  7. Place  the protection charm into your handbag or pocket knowing you are divinely protected and  shielded from external negative influences.

Wishing you an enchanted week.

Sending love and rainbows, Robbyne
